Bug 22949 – Freetype-2.1.3 patch fails during emerge php ebuild

When trying to emerge php i get the following error..

Seemant/bugzilla people: It's something with freetype, please assign to whoever does that?

i have no idea whatsoever why this is, by now thousands of ppl have build this lib with this patch so i can only assume it's a problem on your side. Corrupted patch ? Corrupted tarball ? I don't know, something like that.

remove the freetype dir , rsyn and try again

The output also sais 'include in your bugreport <blahblah>' please do so (attach it).

Removing the freetype folder from /etc/portage/media-libs/ worked, thank you

closing , corruption somewhere along the way
