Description Anton Bolshakov 2008-06-19 08:16:24 UTC
I'm using Filewriter and a separate file on a root partition and everything used to work fine <=2.6.24-r4
I have 3 different laptops and all of them can hibernate any more with -r9.
The error message is:

hibernate: [01] Executing CheckLastResume ...
hibernate: [01] Executing CheckRunlevel ...
hibernate: [01] Executing LockFileGet ...
hibernate: [01] Executing NewKernelFileCheck ...
hibernate: [10] Executing EnsureSwsusp2Capable ...
hibernate: [11] Executing Swsusp2SetupFilewriter ...
hibernate: Filewriter image (/suspend_file) is unrecognised.
hibernate: I'm not even going to attempt to use this file to suspend to.
hibernate: Please erase the contents of the existing file if you believe it
hibernate: to be safe, otherwise, please specify a new file.
hibernate: Aborting.

I have regenerated the suspend image however the problem is still there.

Ok, the problem seems fixed the next version of hibernate-script, which is not even in the portage yet.
