Tk-PNG-2.005.ebuild
Does this satsify any dependancies? Perl modules are not added to portage unless they fulfill a dependancy elsewhere. Otherwise, you will need to install the module yourself or wait until there is a working method in place for portage to handle CPAN modules directly. I wrote this ebuild because i needed the module for my Perl classes. We used GD::Graph (which outputs PNG files by default) to generate some statistics and showed them in Tk mainwindow. I'm not yet very experienced with perltk or perl in general, but as far as i know using Tk::PNG is the only way to use PNG files with perltk. p.s.: I have already installed the ebuild on two machines and it is working flawlessly. 2.005 added to cvs. g-cpan chokes on the perl-tk dependency, so needs real ebuild. |
