Investigating this. Should be as simple as letting you select a keymap at boot time (like the x86 boot cd). I recall having heard a report if you booted using the "gentoo serial" option, the keyboard would map correctly (though this was in relation to a Sun Blade 100 and USB keyboard). Have you tried this? There will be a new experimental LiveCD showing up on mirrors in the path experimental/sparc/livecd/sparc64 that should fix this problem. Pleas let me know it works for you. If it's still a problem, please reopen. also figured out: keyboard not responding during boot (just after GRUB or kernel boot). i.e. cannot enter keycode when prompted (dokeymap boot option) -> maybe no keymap problem |
