Attached is an updated ebuild for xmms-shell-0.99.3.  The GCC3 compile
problem has long since been fixed so the patch is no longer necessary.  Besides
that being the biggest change, there have been numerous bug fixes and new
features as well.

The current ebuild in portage (media-plugins/xmms-shell) is version 0.99.0-r1

I see http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42446 as an issue with this version. Hope it is a simple fix.
