Description Santiago M. Mola (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-06-11 15:44:20 UTC
net-libs/rb_libtorrent configure fails with --as-needed and dev-libs/boost-1.35.0-r1:

checking whether the Boost::Filesystem library is available... yes
configure: error: Unable to find Boost.Filesystem library, currently this is required.

Boost::Filesystem is ok, the configuration checks have to add -lboost_system to LIBS so boost_filesystem can be used.

I'm not sure yet how to fix it correctly.

FYI/IIRC, same problem with boost headers was fixed in libopenraw and bmpx by altering the m4 macros they ship for boost detection..

missing attachment, config.log.

This and other boost-1.35 compatibility problems are fixed in svn repo r2385 by updating boost's m4 files.

After looking at the needed changes. It's no worth for me to fix it and I prefer to wait the next release. I'm keeping the bug open though, for keeping track of the problem.
