The cld bug in Linux has been fixed two days after the gcc-4.3 release. Please don't force people to use --enable-cld and add a use flag to disable it (or mayble disable it by default).

this has already been discussed on the gentoo-dev mailing list ... i see no reason to change the decisions made there
