ePSXe will works fine under AMD64 as long as plugins are compiled using -m32 -march=i486.  The plugins tested are:

games-emulation/psemu-peopsspu
games-emulation/psemu-gpupetemesagl

However, I still couldn't get psemu-peopsspu to compile ALSA in 32-bits, so psemu-peopsspu would need USE="-alsa" for epsxe to work.

Expected Results:  
Can run under AMD64 since epsxe is just a 32-bits binary.
