I exited windowmaker and started up gnome. XMMS failed from it's menu entry but started from a terminal. The problem appeared to be a visualization plugin failing to load (goom). I disabled the plugin, restarted xmms from it's menu entry and all was well. Exiting gnome, going back to windowmaker and starting from my menu works as well. Very odd, I never started the plugin in the first place. Nonetheless, fixed. Maybe a little more experimentation next time before I file the report ;-) -P . |
