Description Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2008-05-19 00:21:22 UTC
Hello arches,

Please stabilize dev-cpp/libxmlpp-2.22.0
In addition to other changes, it also works with gcc-4.3 and has been in the tree for over a month. Despite the version number, it's not really tied to GNOME-2.22 and hasn't been included in the GNOME mask, so it's been in testing for over 30 days.

MIPS, you are in CC because you have libxmlpp-2.12.0 keyworded, but not later versions. Please see if you should drop the keyword on 2.12.0 too (I have not checked if you got any users) or keyword 2.22.0 ~mips, so that the older version can be removed, and you get all the fixed including the gcc-4.3 compilation one.

ppc stable
Comment 2 Ferris McCormick (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-05-19 19:50:40 UTC
Sparc stable, examples seem to work. Now, that said, it would be really nice if those examples were turned into a test suite. I dislike libraries that come without built-in tests.

Really old stale bug. Closing as fixed, as everyone is stable, just mips CC for keywording a later version per comment #0 was removed by arfrever without any explanation whatsoever. However 2.22 is now a quite old version too, so I have opened a new bug 270893 for mips
