libffi is getting removed, and so is gtk-server unless this gets fixed ASAP

Sorry, but enough time has passed again. Masked for removal with libffi.

there's an new separate libffi in tree now, the old versions are gone.
gtk-server needs to be tested with it.

Please bump this package and make it use virtual/libffi, it's now at the KEYWORDREQ state in bug 272046.
Comment 4 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-04 18:26:42 UTC
Unmasked, but it still needs a version bump. Please use virtual/libffi, which is also unmasked.
Comment 5 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-05 08:39:47 UTC
I tried to bump it, but it's someway forcing CFLAGS so append-cflags won't work as like

append-cflags "$(pkg-config --cflags-only-I libffi)"

for the ./configure to find up the ffi.h

second option is to use ffcall package, but it's even more broken. I think it's best to fix the libffi detection or lastrite the whole pkg.

Your call.. Sorry, but I've had it with this one.

Gone.
