Second, this happens because your FLAC files have no seektable. I'd be ready to bet you created them through audiocd:/ IO-Slave, it's known to generate FLAC files without seek table. Using the libFLAC demuxer/decoder in xine-lib (flac USE flag in xine-lib) would probably let you seek. On the other hand you can make the files seekable again without rebuilding xine-lib by generating a seektable through use of metaflac(1) command. HTH, Diego flac USE-flag was already set. I also haven't seen any seekable flac so far. But I also have none of them created by myself. The flac I was recently listening too are the ones published by Nine Inch Nails. metaflac helped though. Thanks How can I get the ability to seek also without such a seektable? This should be possible somehow. I'm not going to implement it in xine as the seektable is there for a reason. Strange that the flac USE flag didn't get it to work though, it usually does, at least for the files created through the audiocd:/ kioslave. |
