Well I copied the 1.22 ebuild and it fails on this logging jazz.  Mind that I have never used wdm, I just made the ebuild as a favor to some strangers in the forums.

I'll keep plugging away when I can.

OK the wdm author said my errors were a known bug and that a bugfix release for wdm will happen in the next couple of days.  I'll return to it then.

wdm-1.25.ebuild

wdm-1.25 was released to fix bugs in 1.24.  This ebuild compiles and installs
fine for me.  However I don't use wdm so someone will have to do the testing.
