 * /var/tmp/portage/media-gfx/povray-3.7.0_beta25-r1/image/usr/bin/povray

povray is build with "-s" flag. There is a configure switch to disable this (--disable-strip), but it's not recognized anymore (configure: WARNING: Unrecognized options: --disable-strip). In fact many switch aren't (--without-svga, --with-tiff, --with-X and some others). I will open another bug for this

Ugh, beta 25 is still the only Linux version available - I'm not sure why it is taking them so long to get a newer Linux build out.  3.7 is masked now, anyway, until we can get a newer beta (25 is too buggy now).

Beta 25 is gone now, and we have beta 29, which works correctly with --disable-strip.
