Problem solved by re-merging libassuan (upgrading from 1.0.2 to 1.0.4). I believe the -fPIC bug was resolved on 1.0.2-r1, so opensc should probably depend on >=libassuan-1.0.2-r1 From: /usr/portage/dev-libs/libassuan/ChangeLog *libassuan-1.0.2-r1 (20 Jul 2007) 20 Jul 2007; Alon Bar-Lev <alonbl@gentoo.org> +libassuan-1.0.2-r1.ebuild: Make archive PIC This is hard as I am waiting for ~s390 ~sh to be stable first... Thanks! as libassuan-1.0.2-r1 has been stable and the lowest version for ages I'm marking this as closed. Later versions of stable so I've purged 1.0.2-r1 just to be sure :-) |
