Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge expat
2. revdep-rebuild -X --library libexpat.so.0 (as instructed)
3. cry

Actual Results:  
revdep-rebuild

Expected Results:  
"revdep-rebuild expat" seems to work.

Could be seen as a bug in revdep-rebuild, not to bail out in such a case.

What version of gentoolkit do you have installed?

I had 0.2.0, I've since upgraded to 0.2.3-r1.

gentoolkit-0.2.0 was released over three years ago.  The first version to support --library was gentoolkit-0.2.1

The revdep-rebuild from gentoolkit-0.2.3-r1 will work, however I recommend running that version without the -X option.
