compilation faillure log
by the way the compilation works fine without python
unless you have a good reason to keep it around, remove python 2.3 and run python-updater then try again. # /usr/sbin/python-updater * Starting Python Updater from 2.4 to 2.5 : * Searching for packages with files in /usr/lib/python2.4 /usr/lib32/python2.4 /usr/lib64/python2.4 .. * No packages needs to be remerged. that's because i did the migration long time ago (In reply to comment #0) > dev-lang/python: 2.3.6-r4, 2.4.4-r6, 2.5.1-r4 You still have 2 "old" versions of python. Some packages have broken python lookup scripts and will use 2.3 even if you have 2.4 or 2.5 on your system. So unless you have a dire need for python 2.3 and 2.4, I suggest you remove both (even if only temporarily using quickpkg) and try to emerge empathy again. Thanks |
