You state something about a parallel make..Is the problem fixed with "make -j1" ? I found the source of the problem. My MAKEFLAGS messed up with the ebuild. I guess I have to set the MAKEFLAGS for my own needs when it's needed or disabling it when emerging. Unless there is a way to ignore the MAKEFLAGS (not MAKEOPTS) in the ebuild you can close this bug.
