chkfontpath-1.9.9-gentoo.patch
This is also "needed" by OpenOffice as it is one of the ways OpenOffice searches for fonts on a Linux system. See: http://www.openoffice.org/FAQs/fontguide.html#5 I was about to create my own ebuild when I noticed this bug entry. Thanks, Sean Note that as of right now this already needs to be updated to chkfontpath-1.9.10. There are two small changes to the patch that need to be made for it to work for the new version. I will upload it here. Created attachment 12807 [details, diff]
Patch modified to work with version 1.9.10
Note that the ebuild simply needs to be renamed for it to work with the new
version.
I'm looking into adding this, this weekend As for the patch, Graham (vladimir) wrote up a perl proggy to do all that, which I'd rather use instead of patching this. added to portage. Thanks guys. Awesome to see this ebuild. I'd had a workaround of: http://m8y.org/downloads/chkfontpath Just for OpenOffice. But good to see an official ebuild that actually works :) Is there any information available explaining why this package has been removed from the tree? |
