GPhoto2 didn't merge correctly with rpm installed
at the end of emerge build it ends with a 

--------------------------- ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY ---------------------------
LOG FILE = "/tmp/sandbox-gphoto2-2.1.0-12958.log"

open_wr:   /var/lib/rpm/__db.Name.

the *.log file consists of 1 line as pasted above: open_wr: ...



Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
I had rpm installed.
emerge -kb gphoto2
Actual Results:  
it stops in the error messages i pasted above

what do you exactly mean by 'had rpm installed' ? Did you have the app-arch/rpm ebuild installed or did you have gphoto2 rpm's installed prior to using the Gentoo ebuild ?

its running rpm -q in the configure. i fixed this in the latest ~x86 ebuilds. i wonder if it is worth backporting it to the earlier ebuilds.
