And this works with both /etc/init.d/net.eth0 --nodeps stop may be worth while to add a warning for a version or two so people can adjust $ /etc/init.d/foo pause * pause: this is going away; please use: --nodeps stop vapier, please do so. This should also be doucmented. (In reply to comment #2) > may be worth while to add a warning for a version or two so people can adjust > > $ /etc/init.d/foo pause > * pause: this is going away; please use: --nodeps stop > Where would this need to go? runscript.sh, right? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 295613 *** Ah, not a dupe. mistake (In reply to comment #5) > (In reply to comment #2) > > may be worth while to add a warning for a version or two so people can adjust > > > > $ /etc/init.d/foo pause > > * pause: this is going away; please use: --nodeps stop > > > > Where would this need to go? runscript.sh, right? Yes. You might want to carry this as a patch though so you can drop the warning when you want to. seems to work for me: http://sources.gentoo.org/sys-apps/openrc/files/openrc-9999-pause.patch?rev=1.1 just need migration upgraded if it hasnt already Added information into CVS, thanks for reporting and sorry for loooooooooong delay. |
