Patching gentoo-sources with the four quota patches listed on namesys.com fails
miserably. Much of the patches do cleanly apply, but many others do not.

The alterations seem small enough that it can be included in the next
gentoo-sources. Is this feasible?

On an unrelated note, is the 32bit quota support present in XFS sources
sufficient to enable ReiserFS quota?

this is already planned for the next sources. 
 
of course they do not patch cleany, they were not diff'd against these sources. 
 
i am working on making them become a part of gentoo-sources.

quota from namesys is not added, but xattr+acl+trusted+nested is in pfeifer-sources-2.4.20_pre12 and 2.4.21_pre1...
