A .git directory *definitely* doesn't belong in /. I use it as an alternative to, but in more or less the same spirit as, dispatch-conf ... ... but, hey, whatever ... You probably want to use "git --git-dir=${location} --work-tree=/" or something similar then. Good idea. Thanks. |
