hi, my first ebuild!!

memtest86 is a bootable program which runs multiple tests against your memory
checking for errors. it doesnt run inside any os, you have to boot the program
either via floppy or your boot loader. when you exit memtest your pc is rebooted.

it should also be possible to take the error patten produced from memtest (if
your memory is faultly!) and pass it as a kernel parameter. The kernel will then
ignore that faulty memory. Kewl! (i've never done this just read aboutit)

i've based it on the grub ebuild script.(well more of hacked the grub script:-)

the only issue which may need looking at is the final binary(memtest.bin)
is a boot image. This ebuild installs "memtest.bin" in /boot/memtest86 and
issues a message to let the user know they need to update there boot loader.

is /boot/memtest86/ the best location??

We have memtest86 as part of our installation procedure, so I'll have to confer
with the Daniel about the best way to include this one.
