Description ben-bugs 2008-04-06 01:26:10 UTC
There should be one category for init systems instead of three, maybe sys-apps.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge --search init / inquisitio init

Actual Results:
sys-apps/sysvinit
sys-apps/einit
sys-apps/cinit
sys-process/minit
sys-apps/initng
app-admin/jinit (!)
sys-process/runit

Expected Results:
sys-apps/*nit*
Comment 1 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2009-10-10 22:51:57 UTC
should all be in sys-apps/, but this isnt really a big problem ...

so the things that should get moved whenever the maintainer gets around to it:
sys-process/minit
app-admin/jinit
sys-process/runit

Just an informational note. This bug is a duplicate of #190982 which has been closed by flameeyes. Also he suggested sys-process as the correct category.
