After I boot the 2008.0 beta Live DVD (AMD64) (grub option - gentoo), XFCE starts nicely.  However, if I double-click the "Gentoo Linux Handbook" icon that is already installed on the desktop, I get an error dialog that says:

- Failed to open URL "file:///mnt/cdrom/docs/handbook/html/index.html".
The URL "file:///mnt/cdrom/docs/handbook/html/index.html" is not supported.

If I open a terminal and list the contents of the CDROM, I see that entire docs directory is missing, like so:

Maybe the docs dir is missing from the LiveDVD?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot live DVD 2008.0 AMD
2. Choose "gentoo" at grub menu
3. After Xorg and XFCE initialize, double-click "Gentoo Linux Handbook" icon that is already on desktop.
4. Read error message.
5. Bang head on keyboard.  :-)

Actual Results:  
I get the error message described above.

Expected Results:  
I expect Firefox to open and show me the HTML version of the handbook, which should be on the LiveDVD.  (I would like to use this to install Gentoo 2008.0 BETA on my new box.)

Hardware:

MB: ASUS P5E3 Premium (Intel X48 chipset)
CPU:  Intel QX9650 Extreme C2D 3.0 GHz
RAM:  4GB of GSkill DD3 1066MHz RAM
HDD:  Seagate 320GB SATA
** DVD:  Lite-ON SATA DVD-burner **

Could this be a result of me using a SATA DVD drive, instead of an IDE one?  I looked for the docs directory, but I could not find it anywhere else.

BTW, I checked for this being a duplicate bug, but I could not find anything.  Maybe I used the wrong search terms?
