Description Robert Cole 2003-05-23 20:44:04 UTC
This app can pretty much eliminate spam altogether. It requires the sender to
validate once before the mail is processed through to the receiver. After that
everything from that user is accepted.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

I would love to see an ebuild created for this app. This truely belongs in the
gentoo source tree.

I would be willing to contribute an ebuild of this, as I am setting it up myself. I love gentoo, and this looks like a pretty easy thing for me to do.

I think I got this right. Here is a tarball which contains an ebuild for
qconfirm:

net-mail/qconfirm/qconfirm-0.9.3.ebuild

and associated files.

the tarball is rooted at the portage dir.
The the ebuild is masked per requirements for ~x86, although, given that way
this is built I beleive it will work on on platforms.

New net-mail/qconfirm ebuild tree which includes qconfirm-0.10.1.ebuild

This attachment is contains 2 ebuilds for qconfirm:

   qconfirm-0.9.3.ebuild
   qconfirm-0.10.1.ebuild

And associated files.

The gziped tar ball is routed relative to the portage directory.
I wonder when they will get around to actually including this in portage.

Hopefully quite soon, it would have been nice to be able to emerge it without having to come here =)
Comment 5 Andrej Kacian (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-10-01 15:26:51 UTC
Please submit only ebuild files and patches (if any), the rest is generated by devs. Attach each file separately, as text/plain.

Sorry for the delay, I'll try to get someone using qmail to have a look at this.
Comment 6 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-19 06:14:35 UTC
Please, attach a plaintext ebuild and reopen then.
