I believe sys-apps/openrc merged /etc/init.d/checkroot and /etc/init.d/checkfs into /etc/init.d/fsck. The problem is that crypto-loop still requires the "checkroot" service to be up.

This bug is caused by a bad interaction between openrc+baselayout-2 and util-linux.  I'm not sure who to blame for this, but I guess you'll figure it out ;)

I wonder why the revision number didn't get incremented though..
