When compiling DirectFB emerge takes input devices flags from INPUT_DEVICES in make.conf. The only reference to this variable on gentoo.org (http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/desktop/x/x11/modular-x-howto.xml) and gentoo-wiki (http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Modular_Xorg) describes that a list of available falgs can be taken from emerge xorg-x11/xorg-server -pv . However since xorg uses mouse flag and such is not supported by DirectFB the package builds without mouse support. This can be fixed by adding ps2mouse to INPUT_DEVICES.

It would also help if the DirectFB ebuild listed the available INPUT_DEVICES in the output of "emerge -pv DirectFB" like the xorg-server ebuild does.

Currently, only the USE flags are shown in the output of that command, whereas "emerge -pv xorg-server" shows available USE flags, VIDEO_DRIVERS, and INPUT_DEVICES.
