Description Wilbert Berendsen 2008-03-29 06:08:11 UTC
This is a new ebuild for Pâté (Pate), a very nice framework for writing Python plugins for KDE's editor Kate.

Reproducible: Always

Ebuild for kde-misc/pate-0.5.1

I suggest placing Pate in the category kde-misc .
Comment 2 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-03-29 20:06:30 UTC
- The ebuild header is invalid¹
- LGPL is not a valid license, see /usr/portage/licenses
- Dependency should be =kde-base/kate-3.5*, kdebase likewise - there is KDE nowadays
- the ebuild probably should use cmake-utils.eclass

Updated ebuild for pate 0.5.1

I improved the header, and fixed the dependencies to remain in the 3.x versions. Unfortunately I do not yet exacly know how to use cmake-utils.

Yup this app has qt4/kde4 version, using cmake build system -> we should package it.

The last commit to the pate source was end of 2009. Does it still work with recent kde?
