Please, update to latest TB, and confirm this bug ... or close it. 2.0.0.12 no more in tree. I'm sorry. My gentoo machine has a hardware defect. I am thus unable to reproduce. But maybe it's a good idea to report to upstream anyway... Upstream has ceased active development on the 2.x branch, unlikely this will go anywhere if upstreamed. Plus, reporter is no longer in a position to try to reproduce with 3.x. Nothing we can do here. |
Thunderbird crashed after I hit the reply button, then closed the up-popping email immediately. It can't be reproduced every time, but hitting the reply, reply-all and forward button furiously make tb crash sometimes. It worked for on an email which Thunderbird marked as scam. Maybe this is due to enigmail preprocessing the email before displaying it in a composer widget. By closing the widget, a race condition might happen. Just wild guesses anyway. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Receive an email which tb marks as scam 2. click reply 3. immediately close the composer widget which pops up, then click forward Actual Results: tb crashes Expected Results: I'd expect tb to not crash...
