Description Martin Väth 2008-03-26 14:38:26 UTC
If /etc/rc.conf is a symlink to a nonexistent file (in my case, by a mistake
of myself, a symlink to a file on another partition), openrc segfaults
at the very beginning of the boot process, even without printing anything.

I suggest that openrc should at least print a message what is wrong
(and perhaps even use default values for /etc/rc.conf and continue)
instead of just segfault - without any means to debug at this stage,
it took me several hours to find out what is wrong.
