![]() The page at http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/b43?action=show&redirect=en%2Fusers%2FDrivers%2Fbcm43xx also states that 2.6.24 users should use version 011. As 2.6.24 is stable we should stabilize this too. No, this version is not actually required for 2.6.24. It will extract the proper version with 009, the currently stable fwcutter. Newer kernels require 010 or newer. 011 simply combines the two and cleans up the output. It can wait the 30 days to be stabled. I have added 011 to portage though, thanks for the reminder. |
