As genlop says, I've updated to dev-db/sqlite-3.5.6 at Sat Mar 22 14:23:53 2008.
Since then, stable (0.6.3) tracker segfaults. As archlinux guys says (http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=289844), tracker isn't compatible with this new sqlite3. Unkeywoding the testing version (0.6.6-r1) "solves" the problem.
I think, you should move the testing version to stable branch.

sounds like a new release need to be stabilized.
