Plus if there's no laughter and comedy, where's the motivation? I'll resolve this as LATER: if you do decide to keep mirroring Gentoo Linux then please make sure it's syncing every four hours -- using something like 'rsync.de.gentoo.org' is a good bet as they're pretty fast and up-to-date. Kind Regards, Alex hi, if you like to you can check it again, i wasn't syncing the portage tree, just the distfiles,releases,snapshots,exp. stuff. i added a /gentoo-portage directory and /gentoo where its syncing the portage tree now and the rest of the things. Also providing rsync access to them. My apologies for flipping out earlier. Thanks Juan ping This is not a critical issue. And you'll have to wait, since there are other mirrors before yours, until some weeks ago there was some bugs from august. Alex, Hi, thanks for checking out the server. I'm using rsync.de.gentoo.org for gentoo-portage and distro.ibiblio.org for gentoo tree. I believe i've fixed the cron jobs to run as required for both sync's. Please run some more checks and let me know.
