Really don't see what kind of fix are you expecting from us ;) Also you didn't mention actual ebuild name and version at all, there are tons of various vmware stuff in the tree. ops, you are right vmware-workstation-5.5.5.56455 Created attachment 151049 [details]

Sorry for the late reply, this is probably because we've used the vmware-any-any init scripts for vmware-workstation-5.5.5 and 5.5.6. This is no longer being done for 6.0.3 onwards, but I'm afraid I don't have a license for 5.5 to test out the necessary changes. If you're handy with an overlay, I've attached an appropriately modified ebuild (5.5.6) which you could test for me. Hopefully it will solve the problem without introducing any unwanted side effects... 5:)
This package is no longer in the main tree, please test whether you're still having the same problems with the latest available version. |
