This is an ebuild for media-libs/libass, the standalone version of the mplayer's internal subtitle render. It can be used by some apps like avidemux (which uses an internal copy now) and aegisub (not in portage yet). Ebuild for 0.9.4 version and its automagic patch are coming.

could you please send your patch upstream also ? it still applied perfectly for 0.9.5 :(
