Cannot merge application due to ebuild error and subsequent die message (sede below)

rm -rf /usr/portage/distfiles/svn-src/myth* and try again.

Thanks, that did work.

As a side, it would seem that if an ebuild is going relies on svn in the distfiles directory it (or portage) could have taken care of cleaning up the old svn-src files.
