There are some problems with your 1.4rc6 LiveCD on PPC rsync doesn´t work right the make.conf file it seems it isn´t on the hdd after tarring an stage1 ball to hdd, even if you emerge sync it wont work i heard in the ppc forums there are some causes to all the errors because your latest ppc compiles were wrong. I would prefer to realese a new ppc cd with bugfixes, look at your ppc forums first and release a new cd and announce it on gentoo.org.news .Thanx for your work guys but please do it fast cause on most G4 macs the current cd won´t work right. :-( I am a great fan of Gentoo Linux but i want to install it.
