Description John Murdoch 2003-05-18 15:50:58 UTC
Using the stable tree of Gentoo and a fresh "emerge sync", I attempted to
install gs-sources (version 2.4.21_rc2). However, upon downloading the
patches-2.4.21_rc2-gss.tar.bz2 file, emerge reports that the file has a bad
md5sum and aborts, therefore the gs kernel sources will not be installed. I have
attempted this 3 times (with several "emerge sync"s) and it fails with the same
md5sum on each downloaded file. No proxy was being used.

I think either the uploaded file is corrupt or the reference md5sum is incorrect.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. "emerge sync"
2. "emerge gs-sources"

Actual Results:
Emerge fails and tells me to remove the old file and try again.

Expected Results:
Unpacked gs-sources to respective directory.
