The build error:
sysdeputil.c:511: error: conflicting types for ‘capset’
/usr/include/sys/capability.h:110: error: previous declaration of ‘capset’ was here
make: *** [sysdeputil.o] Error 1

After enableing the useflag, it compiles fine. I'm not the only one (http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-665690-highlight-vsftpd.html
