Reopen with emerge log in English; set your locales to C when reporting bugs. Thanks. (In reply to comment #2) > Reopen with emerge log in English; set your locales to C when reporting bugs. > Thanks. > Looks like it's portage-2.2 bug too cause this report was done with LC_ALL=C LANG=en emerge -v1 =kde-base/marble-4.0.1-r1 Created attachment 144637 [details]

Build log from another machone
I get the same error so reopening bug
new log Hmmm; try again w/ MAKEOPTS="-j1", maybe it will finally produce something useful... (In reply to comment #3) > Looks like it's portage-2.2 bug too cause this report was done with > LC_ALL=C LANG=en emerge -v1 =kde-base/marble-4.0.1-r1 It isn't really a portage bug. You need to step setting LC_ALL by default. Also LANG=en is invalid (but ignored when LC_ALL is set). See bug #208082 for me details on this. (In reply to comment #7) > It isn't really a portage bug. Even if it really appears so, I can assure you that it is broken in so many other ways than just the environment not getting updated properly... :> (In reply to comment #9) > Are you really claiming that 2.0.x still works at all? MAKEOPTS="-j1" emerge --oneshot marble
mask sci-geosciences/gpsd-2.36 and so downgrade to sci-geosciences/gpsd-2.34-r1 fixed the build issue right here on my machine According to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=458576 gpsd-2.37 solves the issue too, so bumping the version up should help too :) fixed with gpsd 2.37, which I just added to portage. |
