Description Matija "hook" Šuklje 2008-02-24 14:50:40 UTC
OpenSync (as of 0.31 I think) has a plugin for Motorola mobile phones. It would be nice to have that included in portage as well.

REQUIREMENTS
 * OpenSync 0.31 or later with the python bindings and python-module plugin
 * Python 2.4 or newer
 * The python-dateutil library (at least version 1.1)
 * Optionally, the pybluez library (at least version 0.9)

...in it there is also a list of the requirements and installation howto.

Initial ebuild.

It installs OK for me, but I haven't had the time to test it how it runs yet.
Comment 3 Matija "hook" Šuklje 2008-06-15 22:54:38 UTC
It seems to work as well. At least, I can see the plugin and set it up in KitchenSync. The problem is only that Kitchensync doesn't work for me, so I can't say with 100% certainty if it works properly or not.
Comment 4 Matija "hook" Šuklje 2008-12-02 22:26:40 UTC
0.38 is already out (as well as the whole OpenSync 0.38 with it)

(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug)
'EBUILD' is in the KEYWORDS which should mean that there is a ebuild attached
to this bug.
This bug is assigned to maintainer-wanted which means that it is not in the
main tree.
Heuristics show that no Gentoo developer has commented on your ebuild.

Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild
submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely
manner. There are simply too many new packages.

Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The
sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to
commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry
into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this
and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =)

Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us.
We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time.

Thanks,
On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team,
Jeremy.

0.22 and 0.39 will stay in portage, and 0.36 is getting removed.
there is no -moto-plugin for 0.39, so i've added one for 0.22.
