Open /var/cache/edb/virtuals and remove gentoo-sources from the line virtual/linux-sources and it will not appear as a dependency. why do only gentoo-sources provide virtual/sources ? Additional Comment #1 is not accurate, this line has to be added/subsitituted in /var/cache/edb/virtuals: virtual/linux-sources sys-kernel/gentoo-sources --> virtual/linux-sources sys-kernel/your-sources-here imho we can remove the kernel-dep from acpid at all, because acpid works with pretty much every current kernel if you enable acpi. i remember that this dep was added because it didn't work with earlier versions of the acpi-patch, but that was ages ago. appears to be fixed in portage. closing. |
