Description Rajiv Aaron Manglani (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-05-15 15:58:14 UTC
the uw-imap ebuild installs ssl certs into /usr/ssl/certs/ however the installed
imapd looks for certs in /usr/lib/ssl/certs/

upon checking mail via imaps, you'll get this error:

May 15 15:44:45 [imapd] SSL error status: error:02001002:system library:fopen:No
such file or directory
May 15 15:44:45 [imapd] SSL error status: error:20074002:BIO
routines:FILE_CTRL:system lib
May 15 15:44:45 [imapd] SSL error status: error:140DC002:SSL
routines:SSL_CTX_use_certificate_chain_file:system lib

personally i would like to see the certs installed into /etc/ssl/certs/ and
imapd should be patched to look for the certs there.

this is with uw-imap-2001a-r2.

fyi, /usr/ssl/certs/ is not in CONFIG_PROTECT.
Comment 2 Preston A. Elder (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-06-22 00:40:13 UTC
This has already been fixed by 2002d, and 2001a* is removed from CVS.
