When trying to emerge recent versions of glib I noticed that it always fails with distcc turned on, and succeeds otherwise:

../glib/.libs/libglib-2.0.so: undefined reference to `__floatundidf'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
distcc[18368] ERROR: compile (null) on localhost failed
make[2]: *** [glib-genmarshal] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable distcc and set MAKEOPTS="-s -j4"
2. Emerge glib
3. Grab popcorn

Actual Results:

Expected Results:  
glib should emerge successfully, taking advantage of parallel make whenever possible :)

Do all distccd servers in /etc/distcc/hosts have same gcc verssion?
and could you try following?

# DISTCC_HOSTS="localhost" emerge -1 glib

2.14.6 was removed from portage tree.
