Patch that provides support for ITE's IT8212 and IT8212A ATA RAID chip.
This chip is used at least in Gigabyte model GA-8SQ800 Ultra.

Patch is based on the GPL driver source that can be downloaded from
http://www.ite.com.tw/productInfo/pc_userinfo.asp?FileName=L2

I use this patch with gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r4.
I have set up two 120GB IBM HD's as RAID1, and it works perfectly.

One correction to the first post there is no such chip as IT8212A. Sorry I messed my mind with the SATA chip this mobo has.
