please please also add gcc profile support for this release (hardened, pie, etc.) fedora has had gcc-4* (with hardened!) for years, with fedora 9 they're even already switching to gcc-4.3 ! if this shouldn't be used with gentoo hardened, then MASK it, but please enable people to at least try it (there are tons of gentoo hardened / gentoo selinux users who want support for gcc-4*) many thanks in advance you're misinformed about the hardened status of things. please review the facts before posting such statements. Regardless of the 'hardened status of things', any chance for this /minor version/ update before 4.3 gets released? :D it gets bumped when i have time ... no bug report makes a difference considering toolchain@gentoo.org is on the gcc announce list |
