Reading Ding's home page, , i thought that it has those dependencies. If i misunderstood, then please accept my apologies for the disturbance.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. paludis --pretend --install --dl-upgrade as-needed  app-text/ding

Actual Results:  
These packages will be installed:
* app-text/ding-1.5 {:0} [N] 

Total: 1 package (1 new)

Expected Results:  
These packages will be installed:
* sys-apps/miscfiles-1.4.2 {:0} [N] -minimal
* app-text/ispell-3.2.06-r6 {:0} [N]
* app-text/agrep-2.04 {:0} [N]
* app-text/ding-1.5 {:0} [N] 

Total: 4 package (4 new)

These are no hard dependencies, more like suggested dependencies. ding can offer more features if agrep or ispell are installed.

The README file says: "{Ding is] A Tk based Front-End to [ae]grep, ispell, dict, ..."
I hope this is enough and more info isn't needed? If you disagree, I can add a note to the ebuild.
