http://penguin.epfl.ch/logrotate_conf.html this address contains an example logrotate.conf, albeit already configured for another machine. try: $ less /usr/share/doc/logrotate-3.6.5/logrotate-default.gz :) John, do you feel that it should be installed to /etc? Avenj, yes I do mate. I think it should install to /etc mainly because if nothing else, thats what users would expect. I for one didnt look at logrotate-default.gz, so my appoligies there, it wasnt clear that it was a conf. |
